The Quest to Find the Big Red

Simply put luxury is the sample universe that exists right after the human needs border is crossed. Because both concepts are subjective (or what they enclose) the existent threshold between both (the border) is simultaneously the no man’s land of this context. The human needs follow biology [if anything would be considered unnatural Darwin is to be blamed instead]. Such a caption is global to necessities presented by other scientific branches such as the sequence neurology, psychology, sociology. The human body's main requirements to function are translated into chemistry: food for calories, water for sustainable maintenance, social interaction as the primary not primordial need [Aristotle believed the animal is a “political (social) animal”]. If these three parameters can be achieved, the full potential of human existence is within reach. The problematic intersection will be met on the last human needs parameter and will be responsible for increasing, decreasing, and translocating the thresholded border; so much so that at certain points it can create tangents with either one of the ast parameters. This is when our experience with the Swedish health system is met, although irrefutably adored for being free and qualitatively high on the world tier the bureaucratic path that needs to be opened takes time, advice and sweat. In a recent event with one of the group's members this not so appreciated bureaucracy was once more emphasized, giving us the opportunity to explore this reality through moving images. With some satire and ambiguity between subjects (THE BIG RED = hospital waiting room / lollipop) we hope to portray what the journey could feel like for a newcomer unaware of such relevant details in their new country. This is not a direct attack to the hospital as if you pass through the bureaucracy you will have access to the health assistance needed, it is however targeted to the journey that someone in need and most of the times unaccompanied will take without knowing when or where their need will be fulfilled/met.
