Accipiter Gentilis

is the result of a challenge: using another artist’s technique, and using as reference a photo of a place of my sorting (with three vanishing points as a must have). The defined lines were preserved, the cubist forms arranged and the colour palette is restrained. Dimensions derive from the angles and colours. The sky has two different colours to represent: the ambiguity and oscillation of the weather. You get to your destination no matter the track taken. The streets were cut off to portray how you get to your destination no matter the track taken. Two sheets of acetate were used to frame it.
